Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance & Business Strategic
- Work collaboratively with President and Director of Planning to build and develop realistic financial plans, monitoring performance throughout the season and implementing strategies to ensure financial goals are met
- Manage existing business by driving performance, re-orders, managing risk and liability, and analyzing customer business opportunities
- Meet and exceed margin goals internally and externally with retail partners
- Track profitability and proactively protect and improve margins
- Collaborate with client accounts to define and execute product strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Present and sell seasonal collections to buyers for assigned accounts
- Provide consumer insights and product needs in advance of the season using customer hindsight
- Work closely with internal and external partners to enhance brand positioning and ensure strategies align with brand objectives
- Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive activity to inform strategy
- Reporting and consistent sales analysis to drive business decisions
- Track weekly sales and stock to identify risks and opportunities
- Build and update WTD, MTD, & YTD sales reports
- Prepare informational packets and analysis for retailer meetings and presentations
- Work closely and cross-functionally with product, production, and account services teams
- Excel at internal and external communications to support alignment and decision-making
- Manage Sales Assistant
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines, utilizing available resources and support as needed
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years in customer ser
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
