Account Executive - Juniors Apparel

Our client, a women's, juniors and missy sportswear brand, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in New York!
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities and potential retail partners
- Schedule and conduct meetings or presentations with prospective accounts to introduce product offerings
- Present seasonal collections and product assortments to buyers and decision-makers
- Maintain and update all sales activity, account information, and communication within internal systems
- Set and monitor sales targets, evaluating performance and adjusting strategies as needed
- Communicate customer feedback, product insights, and market trends to internal teams
- Partner cross-functionally with costing, production, shipping, and design teams to ensure smooth order execution
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient order management, delivery timelines, and account support
Qualifications
- 2+ year of experience in sales, preferably within apparel or fashion in the off-price or mid-tier market.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong client relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Understanding of apparel production timelines, delivery schedules, and sales calendars
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
$65k-85k range
