Our client, a women's, juniors and missy sportswear brand, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in New York!


Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities and potential retail partners
  • Schedule and conduct meetings or presentations with prospective accounts to introduce product offerings
  • Present seasonal collections and product assortments to buyers and decision-makers
  • Maintain and update all sales activity, account information, and communication within internal systems
  • Set and monitor sales targets, evaluating performance and adjusting strategies as needed
  • Communicate customer feedback, product insights, and market trends to internal teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with costing, production, shipping, and design teams to ensure smooth order execution
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient order management, delivery timelines, and account support


Qualifications

  • 2+ year of experience in sales, preferably within apparel or fashion in the off-price or mid-tier market.
  • Proven ability to build and manage strong client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of apparel production timelines, delivery schedules, and sales calendars
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint


$65k-85k range


Full time in office.
