Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Manager to join our growing Cybersecurity practice. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by continuous customer engagement & meetings, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and positioning our cybersecurity solutions effectively in the market. This role is suited for early-career professionals with a passion for technology and sales & field Sales experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. The candidate will also play a critical part in ensuring customer retention and expanding the client portfolio in overall IT Infra Services.
Key Responsibilities
▸ Identify, prospect, and generate new business opportunities in the cybersecurity domain through continuous customer engagement, emails, networking, and industry events.
▸ Understand client pain points and map appropriate cybersecurity solutions from the company's portfolio.
▸ Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline , manage opportunities through the full sales cycle from lead to closure.
▸ Collaborate with presales and technical teams to prepare proposals, RFPs, and solution presentations.
▸ Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets.
▸ Stay current with the cybersecurity landscape, competitor offerings, and market trends.
▸ Maintain accurate records of sales activities in the CRM system.
▸ Participate in product training sessions and OEM certifications as required.
Qualification and Skills
▸ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
▸ 1- 3 years of experience in direct customer engagement for technology sales in cybersecurity domains..
▸ Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals - network security, firewall, endpoint protection, data security, and threat management.
▸ Domain Knowledge - Network Security Firewall Solutions, Malware & Ransomware protection, EDR, DLP.
▸ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to present confidently to customers.
▸ Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment.
▸ Willingness to travel for client meetings & partner events.
Value-Added Skills
▸ Exposure to OEM vendors such as TrendMicro, Palo Alto , Fortinet, Check Point, Sophos, Symantec, or similar.
▸ Basic certification’s in Cyber Security Domain.
▸ Experience working with system integrators, MSSPs, or value-added resellers (VARs).
