Our client a globally listed commerce powerhouse providing a unified, cloud-based platform that serves as the operational backbone for over 168,000 retail and hospitality locations across 100+ countries they are seeking a high-energy Strategic Account Manager to join their team in Berlin. This is a pivotal role within their retail engagement team, focused on driving the success of their most prestigious and highest valued accounts.


The Role

This is a hands on strategic delivery role. The successful candidate will not just be managing a list of names; they will be acting as the single point of contact and primary advocate for a book of business consisting of the organisation's most significant retail partners. The focus is on building long term relationships grounded in mutual trust while meeting rigorous Net Revenue Retention targets.


What you need

  • Native-level German and professional business-level English.
  • Extensive enterprise-level Customer Success or Account Management experience in B2B environments.
  • Proven track record of owning Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and growth for a large book of business.
  • Ability to anticipate market changes and proactively adjust priorities within a fast-paced SaaS or technology field.


Even better if you have, but not necessary - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Experience in a fast paced SaaS and/or technology-related field or Industry expertise in retail.


What you'll be doing

  • Act as the single point of contact and strategic owner for the largest, highest-valued retail customers.
  • Deliver comprehensive Business Reviews and Success Plans to ensure clients reach their desired outcomes.
  • Own and drive the retention and expansion strategy for your specific book of business.
  • Monitor customer usage data, go-live dates, health indicators and translate into strategies for account retention and growth.
