Your initial focus will be on driving sales of our established embedded software products, including Connectivity solutions (Bluetooth stack & tools) and a Radio Tuner SDK for Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s and selected customers in other embedded industries.
At the same time, you will have the opportunity to actively shape and grow a new cloud-based software product as part of our future portfolio.
What this means in practice:
- Act as the primary commercial interface to key customers and strategic prospects in the automotive and embedded markets
- Grow existing key accounts and identify, develop and close new business opportunities
- Own the sales process end-to-end: opportunity identification, negotiation, closing and revenue realization
- Work closely with Partner Management and Marketing to identify alliances, partnerships and new market opportunities
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with customers to enable new development projects, extensions and upgrades
- Collaborate with our Sales team and technical experts to translate customer requirements into compelling solutions
- Provide structured market feedback to Product Management and R&D, influencing future features and product direction
- Maintain pipeline transparency, forecasts and reporting
- Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows and conferences – on-site or virtual
Beyond selling proven products, you will play a key role in bringing a new cloud-based software solution to market – from early customer discussions and positioning to scalable revenue growth.
Your profile
We are looking for a hands-on, entrepreneurial sales professional – not a pure account administrator.
You are a great fit if you:
- Hold a university degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable technical field
- Bring 8–10+ years of experience in sales within the embedded or automotive software industry
- Have strong exposure to connectivity technologies (e.g. Bluetooth stacks), real-time software or automotive platforms
- Are experienced in managing and closing complex deals with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers
- Have an established network within the automotive / embedded ecosystem
- Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Are confident explaining complex technical topics in a clear and convincing way
- Are fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus
- Enjoy building things, taking ownership and getting your hands dirty when needed
- Think creatively, challenge the status quo and are comfortable operating in an evolving product environment
- Experience with functional safety or cybersecurity standards (e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21434, IEC 61508)
- Exposure to cloud, SaaS or platform-based business models
- Background in a real-time software house or embedded technology company
