Job PurposeThe Key Account Manager aims to build productive relationships with existing and potential target customers, key accounts (e.g., medical practices, hospitals), and other stakeholders (e.g., pharmacies) through effective territory management focused on diseases that can be treated with our endocrinological products.Key Responsibilities
- Manage, expand, and provide therapeutic and scientific support to the existing network of customers and KOLs
- Select customers and identify potential prescribers for our product portfolio
- Continuously expand the customer base and refine the relevant target group
- Consistently implement company strategy and measures to ensure goal achievement while addressing the individual needs of each customer/target group
- Develop account plans to support growth-oriented sales and revenue planning
- Use the allocated budget responsibly for customer development
- Develop innovative educational concepts based on current customer needs
- Attend congresses, sponsorship events, and other meetings as opportunities for customer engagement and personal development
- Educate customers on complex diagnostic and treatment scenarios, raise awareness for rare diseases and orphan drugs, and support the development of healthcare networks
- Complete reporting and general administrative tasks
- Contribute to the creation of brochures and materials for customers
- Completed degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, or medical field
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; rare diseases or endocrinology experience is an advantage
- Existing hospital network in niche products and regional physician network desirable
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently and proactively
- Strong sales orientation, excellent communication, and presentation skills
- Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
- Fluent in German and proficient in English
