We are seeking Director Consulting Services (DCS) to join our South Florida team. This role requires an individual who can build trusted relationships with business and technology leaders, translate strategic objectives into actionable solutions, carry responsibilities across ideation and full sales cycle, and oversee execution across multiple initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation, enabling them to guide solution design, challenge assumptions, and ensure quality delivery. They apply lean principles and process engineering discipline to continuously optimize delivery, improve efficiency, and drive measurable client value. This role operates at the intersection of sales, strategy and execution—aligning stakeholders, scaling delivery, and delivering consistent outcomes.
This position is located in Miami, FL in a hybrid working environment.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships across business and technology client leadership.
- Drive business development, including opportunity shaping and deal closure.
- Own a portfolio of engagements with accountability for delivery, growth, and talent.
- Oversee multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment, prioritization, and execution.
- Translate client objectives into clear solution approaches and executable plans.
- Provide technical oversight to ensure sound design and delivery quality.
- Apply lean and process engineering principles to optimize delivery and enhance value.
- Lead proposals and executive presentations with clear, compelling messaging.
- Partner across CGI to deliver scalable, high-quality outcomes.
- Develop and mentor consulting leaders.
- 12+ years leading consulting or IT teams. At least 5+ years with full account accountability.
- Proven ability to build executive relationships across business and technology.
- Strong technical background with experience leading solution design and delivery.
- Experience managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Hands-on application of lean principles and process engineering.
- 10+ years delivering and selling complex business and technology solutions.
- Strong business acumen linking technology to business value.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Track record of measurable client impact.
- Established South Florida relationships preferred.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Bachelor's degree required; master’s preferred.
- Strong technical foundation to participate in architecture and execution.
- Broad fluency across IT/OT environments.
- Experience modernizing legacy systems (ERP, CRM).
- Cloud leadership across Azure and AWS.
- Knowledge of data and analytics platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau).
- ‘Practical understanding of AI capabilities and how to embed AI into delivery workflows to enhance execution, productivity, and outcomes.
- Ability to enable and guide delivery teams in leveraging AI tools and approaches within engagements.
Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $143,500.00 - $282,500.00.
