About The Role
We’re hiring a Founding Full-Cycle Account Executive who can own the full sales cycle from nurturing to closing (and some prospecting if needed) and help shape the foundation of our outbound GTM motion. This person should be a strategic closer, have immense hustle, and a trusted partner to our customers. What You’ll Do:
- Build the end-to-end playbook for qualifying prospects, nurturing leads and closing deals
- Run experiments across messaging, pricing, and sales motions to continuously improve close rates
- Own the entire sales funnel across our entire pipeline of prospects, from nurturing & engaging to closing, with some prospecting / outbound as needed
- Primary focus will be leading sales calls, managing the entire closing process end-to-end, working closely with our Platform team, and nurturing warm pipeline
- Implementing tools and systems to optimize the end to end sales process
- Partner with SDRs and the outbound marketing team to optimize lead generation, nurturing, and conversion strategies
- Develop a deep understanding of customer pain points in finance and accounting, and position MAVI as the strategic solution.
- Work closely with founders and GTM leadership to shape our sales playbook and iterate based on market feedback.
- Track, measure, and report on key sales metrics helping build a data-driven sales culture.
- Represent MAVI with professionalism, empathy, and hustle & become a trusted partner to our customers.
- (Over time) Potentially take on sales leadership responsibilities as the team scales.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 2+ years in a closing AE role, ideally at a high-growth startup
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding revenue quotas.
- Strong experience with leading sales calls and closing deals for sophisticated B2B buyers (e.g. C-suite, VP level, Director level for mid-market companies)
- Experience building and optimizing sales processes, metrics, and tools.
- Experience selling to finance & accounting leaders in SME/mid-market companies is a huge plus but not required
- Unparalleled hustle, ambition and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A builder’s mindset- scrappy, data-driven, hungry, and humble.
