As a Key Account Manager Vision Care supporting our Vision Care Sales & Sales Support team, you will be trusted to work on strategic account development and long‑term customer partnerships within your assigned regional territory. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a defined customer portfolio while developing into a broader commercial and strategic role over time.
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Collaborating with key customers and internal partners to solve commercial and patient‑journey challenges.
- Managing and growing a defined portfolio of Vision Care accounts through solution‑oriented, relationship‑driven engagement.
- Developing and executing medium‑ to long‑term account plans to achieve sales targets and strengthen Alcon’s market position.
- Preparing, negotiating, and managing commercial agreements and contracts.
- Analyzing account performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities and guide business decisions.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in sales, account management, or customer‑facing roles—ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or FMCG.
- Strong commercial mindset with the ambition to grow into a strategic key account role.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- A proactive, customer‑centric approach with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a strong asset.
- Autonomy to manage your own customer portfolio while developing your strategic commercial capabilities.
