Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented insurance professional to join our team as a Commercial Lines Account Manager. In this role, they will manage a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring client insurance needs are met through proactive service and strategic coverage recommendations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.
Work Location: This is an in-person position working out of our North Easton, MA office.
Professional Responsibilities
- Manage and service commercial lines accounts, including quoting new business and marketing coverage with multiple carriers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service needs, including renewals, policy changes, and coverage inquiries.
- Review and analyze client accounts to identify coverage gaps, cost-saving opportunities, and appropriate risk management solutions.
- Prepare submissions, remarket accounts, and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms and coverage.
- Support Producers with new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to achieve retention and growth goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and carrier partners.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the agency management system.
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory requirements through ongoing professional development.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance or a related account management role.
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Experience working with commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices preferred.
- Proficiency with agency management systems (e.g., AMS360) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
