With our exponential growth, we're seeking an experienced Assistant Trade Marketing Manager (m/f/d) to join our global brand team. In this role, you'll assist in managing distributor markets, maintaining relations and overseeing execution of marketing plans in various regions.



What you'll do

1. Brand Management & Governance

  • Thoroughly understand the Joie brand and serve as liaison between global brand team and regional distributors in emerging markets
  • Act as primary brand ambassador and gatekeeper of brand identity to distributors by:

-Periodically auditing brand channels

-Gathering visuals and recapping local activities

-Providing creative feedback from the global brand team to distributors


2. Distributor Management & Regional Marketing Execution

  • Communicate all custom graphic requests from distributors to the global brand team and maintain visibility to new collaterals on an ongoing basis
  • Ensure local markets have access to and utilize all tools needed to launch the brand in their region, equipping local teams to successfully communicate Joie across various channels
  • Provide guidance to distributors on local showroom and trade and consumer fair layouts
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing Director in:

-Adapting and cascading global tools, directions, and initiatives

-Guiding regional marketing plans and allocation of global marketing fund spending

-Providing necessary context for better strategy and decision making

-Work with distributors to develop launch plans for key products or product ranges in their markets, and ensure proper and on-brand implementation


3. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate current sales tools and identify opportunities to better support customer sell-in at both distributor and retailer levels
  • Communicate regional success stories to inform global best practices and enable replication across regions
  • Conduct regular market reviews & reports for global sales, product, and marketing teams, including:

-Market demographics & economics

-Competitive & retail landscape

-Current brand performance and growth opportunities



What you'll bring

Experience & Education

  • Three (3) to five (5) years in brand or product management, fast-moving or consumer packaged goods, or industry-related preferred.
  • B.S. degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred.
  • Experience with a multinational company highly desirable.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external customers and within diverse groups, obtaining cooperation and maximum effort from various stakeholders.
  • Skilled in identifying and anticipating consumer and customer needs.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with excellent time management and strong decision-making skills needed to manage workflow processes and timelines.
  • Strong multi-tasker, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with accuracy.

Technology

  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite
  • Basic knowledge in dealing with multimedia files & documents
  • Willing to learn systems & platforms necessary to perform tasks and complete

Language

  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English highly desirable
  • Ability to articulate and self-express in any other language or medium is a plus
