About Avaloq PMO(Project Management Officer):
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Avaloq PMO to join our team. In this role, you will take a leading position in driving key Avaloq‑related initiatives, requirements. Ensuring effective project governance, clear stakeholder alignment, and timely delivery of all program milestones. You will play a critical role in orchestrating cross‑functional collaboration, enhancing our core banking modernization journey, and shaping the strategic evolution of the Avaloq platform across the organization and supporting the growth of our Affluent and HNW segments.
- Responsibilities
- Define business requirements and govern project delivery lifecycle – Gather and document business requirements, review functional specifications, and participate in or sign off User Acceptance Testing (UAT). – Ensure adherence to PMO standards, change management protocols, and release governance.
- Manage cross‑functional stakeholders across Business, Tech, Ops, Risk, and Finance – Collaborate effectively with internal partners (Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, Finance, Product Owners, etc.) to deliver integrated Avaloq solutions that support both business outcomes and regulatory needs.
- Drive change management, communication, and user readiness – Lead communication plans, training readiness, and stakeholder engagement to support smooth adoption of new Avaloq features and process changes across impacted teams.
- Perform data‑driven analysis on system usage & operational efficiency – Leverage operations metrics, system logs, incident data, and business analytics to track process performance, identify inconsistencies, and propose enhancements for automation or re‑design.
- Enhance internal user satisfaction with the Avaloq platform – Monitor user feedback channels (Ops teams, branch staff, business users) to identify bottlenecks, prioritize quick wins, and drive permanent fixes to improve efficiency and reduce manual workarounds.
- Shape Wealth strategy & roadmap – Contribute to the bank’s wealth platform modernization strategy by identifying key platform enhancements, supporting business scalability, and driving alignment across Product, Segments, Operations, and Technology teams.
- Identify emerging trends in core banking, regulatory requirements, and system capabilities – Stay ahead of industry practices, technology evolutions, regulatory guidelines, and operational risks to continuously improve our wealth platform setup and ensure the bank remains competitive and compliant.
- Drive Wealth platform initiatives and identify modernization opportunities – Lead core banking transformation projects on the Avaloq platform, and identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, automation, and end‑to‑end digital journeys through system optimization and process redesign.
- Design best‑in‑class business & operational processes on the Avaloq platform – Define optimized workflows, identify pain points in current processes, and drive the design of scalable customer and employee journeys aligned with Avaloq capabilities and industry best practices. – Ensure timely and high‑quality project delivery
- Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project managements, business analysis, core banking, or digital transformation roles.
- Experience with Avaloq Core Banking, or other major core banking / wealth management systems is highly preferred.
- Strong capability in requirements gathering, process design, and managing complex system change initiatives.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Solid understanding of banking operations, wealth management products, accounting flows, and control processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders and drive alignment across business and technology teams.
- Customer‑centric mindset with strong problem‑solving skills; able to think beyond existing constraints.
- Strong interest in banking modernization, system transformation, and continuous improvement.
