Job title: Senior Software Engineer (Scala)

Salary: €50,000 - €75,000 per year

Role Location: Lisbon, Portugal (1 x per week)

Role And Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key backend projects that have strategic impact
• Design and build scalabe systems using technologies like Scala, GraphQL, Redis, Postgres and Elasticsearch
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to drive technical decisions and deliver high-impact features
• Lead complex initiatives from start to finish

Job Requirements

• Experience with Scala/Java/Kotlin (willing to use Scala)
• Hands on experience with Elasticsearch, Kafka, Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with AWS
• Experience building relevant production ready, scalable web applications.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Fluency in English with legal authorization to work in the EU.
