As Key International Account Manager in our Fragrance Sales team, you will lead one of our major international accounts, partnering closely with global and regional colleagues to drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and shape the strategic direction of a high-impact client relationship.
The position is based in Hamburg, Germany, reporting directly to our Regional Head, Consumer Products.
Your Role
You will be the central link between Givaudan and your customer - developing strong partnerships, delivering winning fragrance solutions, and inspiring a global team to achieve excellence.
In this exciting role, you will
- Grow our business globally with your designated account, managing both topline and profitability.
- Act as the lead contact for all Givaudan activities and interactions with the client globally.
- Build deep understanding of the customer’s structure, strategies, and key decision makers.
- Coordinate an effective international account team and ensure optimal global coverage.
- Partner with regional leaders to develop and coach talented commercial team members.
- Drive customer satisfaction by delivering against strategic KPIs and securing a high project win rate.
- Ensure Givaudan remains the preferred fragrance partner through innovation and flawless execution.
- Develop and monitor comprehensive Account and Category Plans, including forecasts and budgets.
- Champion proactive projects that defend core business and capture new opportunities.
- Collaborate with customer care, planning, and procurement teams to maintain exceptional service levels.
Your background includes
- A university degree.
- 10+ years’ experience in fragrance, beauty, or FMCG industries, ideally in international sales or marketing.
- Proven success in key account management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated management experience, including coaching, developing, and inspiring team members to achieve shared goals
- Strong negotiation and communication skills; fluent in English and ideally German (French is a plus).
- Solid business and commercial acumen, including full P&L understanding.
- Olfactive competence and deep knowledge of fragrance market dynamics.
