Account Manager - Help Teams Gear Up for Greatness!

Now we’re looking for a relationship-driven Account Manager to help us grow and support the teams that make our soccer community thrive.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Manager, you’ll serve as the primary partner for soccer clubs and organizations in your territory, helping them bring their programs to life through uniforms, equipment, and spirit wear. You’ll manage relationships, guide program strategy, and collaborate internally to ensure exceptional customer experience.

Build Strong Club Partnerships

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned soccer clubs and organizations
  • Maintain regular engagement with club leadership through proactive check-ins
  • Respond quickly to client requests and provide outstanding service
  • Track account activity and relationships through the Soccer Village CRM
  • Coordinate business review meetings and share insights with leadership

Lead Uniform & Equipment Programs

  • Guide clubs through uniform, equipment, and spirit wear program planning
  • Present product options, pricing proposals, and uniform layouts
  • Coordinate custom designs, logos, numbering, and sponsorship elements
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure smooth order execution
  • Forecast demand to support purchasing and production planning

Manage Spirit Wear Programs

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of club spirit wear—from design to delivery
  • Coordinate product selection, pricing, approvals, and replenishment
  • Manage graphic design collaboration, production, and distribution
  • Update club spirit wear catalogs three times per year (Fall, Holiday, Spring)

Collaborate Across the Organization

  • Work closely with internal teams across sales, operations, purchasing, and accounting
  • Partner with team support specialists to ensure accuracy and service quality
  • Participate in sales and operational planning meetings
  • Resolve challenges and keep projects moving forward

Drive New Business

  • Identify and pursue new club partnerships in strategic markets
  • Conduct outreach and introductory meetings with prospective accounts
  • Maintain organized pipeline tracking and follow up quickly with prospects
  • Collaborate with leadership to expand Soccer Village’s team business footprint

  • Experience in account management, sales, or client relationship roles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organization and follow-through
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience in sports, apparel, team sales, or the soccer industry
  • Familiarity with club sports organizations and team uniform cycles
  • CRM experience

The Qualifications We're Looking For

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2 - 4 years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Proven account management or B2B sales experience (sports or team sales preferred).
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
