Job Overview:
This role is Key Account Manager role is a strategic, remote-based position centered in Singapore, tasked with driving regional growth across the Southeast Asian telecom market. You will serve as a consultative partner to Telecom Operators and OTT providers, leveraging a robust global infrastructure of submarine cables and digital network solutions to solve complex connectivity challenges. This is an opportunity for a high-performing sales leader to manage high-value accounts and expand the footprint of a legacy global communications provider within a high-growth territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Expansion: Drive international network requirements for Telecom Operators and OTT customers to exceed sales targets.
- Consultative Selling: Design customized marketing proposals and integrated product portfolios (Submarine Cables, IEPL, Cloud) tailored to specific client needs.
- Strategic Account Management: Deepen relationships with existing partners and identify high-potential new business by leveraging global resources.
- Market Intelligence: Analyze customer pain points to guide future product development and resource planning.
- Partnership Building: Establish and maintain robust cooperative relationships with global carriers to expand business channels.
Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of sales or partnership experience within the Telecom industry, specifically focused on International Submarine Cable sales.
- Proficient in products like IEPL, Global Internet Access, and Cloud. You should have a solid grasp of computer networks and the global distribution of IDC, IX, and Submarine Cable resources.
- Established relationships with large-scale Internet enterprises and familiarity with their overseas requirements.
- Experience with international telecom carriers or the overseas divisions of major Chinese carriers is highly preferred.
- Professional fluency in both Chinese and English is required to liaise with global stakeholders and headquarters.
- High resilience, exceptional negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel across Southeast Asia.
- Candidates based in Singapore are preferred.
