About QpiAI
QpiAI is an India-headquartered quantum and AI infrastructure company building full-stack quantum computing hardware and an agentic AI platform for enterprise customers. Our hardware portfolio spans the QVidya 8-qubit quantum computer through to the Indus, Kaveri, and Ganges variants. Our agentic AI platform delivers measurable outcomes across supply chain, manufacturing, BFSI, and public-sector verticals.
We work with research institutions, government bodies, and enterprises to deploy integrated quantum and AI systems that are operational, supported, and continuously improved. As we scale customer engagements globally, we are investing in a customer engagement function that can deliver complex infrastructure programs with the rigor enterprise buyers expect.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Engagement Manager (CEM) to own customer success across QpiAI's enterprise and institutional engagements from contract signature through to steady-state operations. The CEM is the single point of accountability for delivery quality, customer relationship health, and account expansion across assigned customers.
The role combines program management of complex hardware and software deployments, executive stakeholder engagement, and continuous orchestration across QpiAI's engineering, applications, procurement, and supply chain teams. This is a high-visibility role suited for someone who has carried delivery accountability on multi-crore enterprise infrastructure programs and wants to apply that craft to the most exciting frontier in computing.
Role: Assistant Director - Customer Engagement
Location: Bangalore, India (with frequent travel to customer sites)
Experience: 10+ years
Function: Customer Success and Delivery
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement and Account Ownership
- Serve as the face of QpiAI for assigned enterprise and institutional accounts, owning the relationship from C-suite sponsors to operating teams.
- Run a structured cadence of governance forums, business reviews, and steering committee meetings.
- Translate customer business outcomes into clear delivery commitments and track progress transparently.
- Drive customer satisfaction, reference-ability, renewal, and expansion across the account portfolio.
Delivery Oversight
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer engagements spanning quantum hardware (QPU, dilution refrigerators, cryogenic and RF infrastructure), the agentic AI platform, and application-layer solutions.
- Manage the full program lifecycle: planning, risk and issue management, change control, milestone tracking, acceptance testing, go-live, and transition to support.
- Coordinate across QpiAI internal teams (hardware engineering, software, supply chain, procurement, applications) and external vendors and system integrators.
- Ensure delivery to scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments contractually agreed with each customer.
Program and Project Management
- Build and maintain detailed project plans with clear milestones, dependencies, and resource assignments.
- Maintain accurate financial tracking, including revenue recognition checkpoints, cost-to-complete, and margin management.
- Operate standardized PM artifacts: RAID logs, weekly status reports, change requests, and gating reviews.

- MBA from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience at IBM, Accenture, Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, NTT, HPE, Dell Technologies, or a major systems integrator or hyperscaler.
