Position Summary:
The Channel Marketing Manager will lead the development and execution of retail and channel marketing programs across North America to drive brand awareness, sell-through, and market share growth. This role will work closely with sales, ecommerce, product marketing, retailers, distributors, and internal teams to create impactful marketing initiatives that support key retail and online partners.
The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong executional capabilities and has experience supporting premium consumer electronics, gaming, audio, fitness, or lifestyle brands across national retailers, ecommerce platforms, and specialty channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail & Channel Marketing Strategy
- Develop and execute annual channel marketing strategies aligned with company revenue and brand objectives
- Create retailer-specific marketing plans for national and regional accounts including Best Buy, Target, Walmart, specialty retailers, sporting goods, and ecommerce partners
- Manage co-op, MDF, and promotional marketing investments to maximize ROI
- Align retail initiatives with product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional calendars
Retail Partner Support
- Build strong relationships with retailer marketing, merchandising, and ecommerce teams
- Coordinate retailer promotional programs including digital campaigns, retail media, in-store displays, demos, and training initiatives
- Ensure consistent premium brand presentation across all retail touchpoints
- Support retailer meetings, line reviews, trade shows, and partner events
- Develop in-store merchandising, POP materials, display strategies, and retail training tools
- Coordinate field marketing initiatives and retail audits where applicable
- Monitor retail execution and identify opportunities to improve visibility and sell-through
Ecommerce & Digital Marketing
- Partner with ecommerce teams to optimize PDP content, A+ content, videos, banners, and retail media assets
- Coordinate digital assets for retailer websites and marketplaces
- Analyze online traffic, conversion, and campaign performance metrics
Product Launch Execution
- Lead retail launch execution for new products across all channel partners
- Coordinate launch timing, merchandising assets, training materials, and retailer communication
- Work cross-functionally with product marketing, sales, supply chain, and retail teams to ensure successful launches
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze sell-through trends, market share, promotional performance, and channel KPIs
- Track effectiveness of channel marketing investments and retailer campaigns
- Provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership and HQ teams
- Monitor competitive activity, pricing trends, and retail merchandising strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of channel marketing, trade marketing, shopper marketing, and/or retail marketing experience
- Experience supporting North American retailers and ecommerce partners
- Strong understanding of consumer electronics, wearable, fitness, or lifestyle categories preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple retailer programs simultaneously
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel domestically for retailer meetings, trade shows, and events
