Our Client is seeking a highly capable Data Scientist / Machine Learning Risk Specialist to partner with cross‑functional teams and evaluate, challenge, and govern advanced machine learning models across enterprise platforms.

This role focuses on identifying and quantifying model risk, validating next‑generation AI/ML solutions, and shaping governance standards that enable responsible, scalable model deployment. You’ll work across modern ML stacks—including LLMs and multi‑modal data pipelines—while translating technical findings into clear, business‑relevant insights for senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to identify, assess, and quantify model risk
  • Leverage a broad AI/ML stack including PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, vector databases, LLMOps, and observability tools

  • Contribute to the evolution of model governance frameworks for next‑generation AI systems
  • Validate models across multiple business domains within enterprise services
  • Communicate model risks, limitations, and potential business impacts clearly to executive and non‑technical audiences

The Ideal Candidate

Innovative: Continuously explores emerging technologies and applies state‑of‑the‑art methods thoughtfully

Creative: Thrives in ambiguous problem spaces and enjoys shaping clarity through experimentation

Technical: Hands‑on experience developing data science solutions using open‑source tools and cloud platforms

Statistically grounded: Strong expertise in model validation, back‑testing, and evaluation metrics (ROC curves, confusion matrices, etc.)

Data‑driven: Comfortable working with large‑scale, multi‑modal datasets from diverse sources

Basic Qualifications

One of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related) plus 2 years of data analytics experience
