As a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Frontend) - Medical Imaging Solutions, you will help shape the future of medical imaging and clinical workflow solutions. You will work on advanced applications that enable clinicians and researchers to interact with complex medical and imaging data. By combining modern web technologies with high-performance systems, you will contribute to building intuitive, scalable and robust tools on the Snke platform.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop software solutions for medical imaging and clinical workflow applications
• Build modern full-stack applications with a focus on frontend development (e.g. React, TypeScript)
• Develop features for applications visualizing structured medical and imaging data (e.g. DICOM viewers, visualization tools)
• Implement backend services and APIs supporting imaging and data processing workflows
• Work with microfrontend architectures and service-based systems to build scalable applications
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (data, imaging, backend) to deliver robust and maintainable solutions
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve development processes and technologies

What we are looking for

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong experience in software engineering with a focus on full-stack and frontend development
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript
• Experience with backend development and APIs (HTTP, REST, JSON)
• Familiarity with modern programming languages (e.g. TypeScript, C++, Rust, C# or similar)
• Experience building scalable and maintainable software systems
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and container technologies (e.g. Docker)
• Experience with build systems and package managers (e.g. CMake, MSBuild, npm, vcpkg)
• Strong analytical thinking, structured approach and a collaborative mindset
• Bonus: Experience with DICOM/FHIR, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or med-tech projects
