Role
As a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer in our Product Development Team for Robotic Solutions you will work closely together with different stakeholders to develop production ready software for scalable robot applications based on our Intrinsic Platform. You will be part of the entire development journey, from scoping the right technical solution, analyzing dependencies and needs up to actual development and testing.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Synchronize with product management and platform development to take the right architecture decisions, which ensure long term maintainability and stability.
- Implement high quality software with state of the art tooling as part of an experienced team of developers.
- Be hands on in testing on real hardware and supporting customers where needed.
- Ensure a smooth transition of feature releases to the Customer Success Team, which will take care of most customer facing enablement and support.
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical background in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Experience implementing user facing web-based frontends and associated backends in the context of robotics and industrial automation.
- Professional work experience with Python + TypeScript / JavaScript.
- Demonstrated capability in technical leadership, including setting technical direction and guiding development efforts towards successful outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
- Proven track record developing and deploying frontend and backend production code for industrial robotics and automation solutions within manufacturing or production environments.
- Good understanding of concepts such as coordinate transforms, quaternions and pose representations.
- Familiarity with web-based 3D Visualization.
- Ability to drive sustainable architecture decisions and experience with appropriate testing approaches.
- Experience with Angular, Bazel, gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
