AI Fullstack Engineer (m/w/d)

The Opportunity
Software doesn't just get used anymore. It works. Autonomously. Right now, enterprises are waking up to the fact that AI agents aren't chatbots with a better UX. They're digital employees. They need an office.
Arveum Intelligence is that office.
We're building the enterprise platform where AI agents operate as team members, with roles, responsibilities, workflows, and a Mission Control dashboard that lets humans stay in command. Not another developer SDK. Not a security wrapper. The workplace layer for the agentic era.
Our platform is live. The architecture features a visual flow builder, multi-agent orchestration, YAML-driven workflows, and BYOK/LLM-agnostic deployment across any model provider. And we're just getting started.
If you want to build the infrastructure that defines how companies work with AI, not just how developers build with it, this is your role.
What You'll Do
- Own the full stack of our agent platform, from the React/Next.js Mission Control frontend to the Node.js/Python backend services that orchestrate multi-agent workflows.
- Design and build the flow builder, deployment pipelines, and real-time agent monitoring systems that let enterprises run AI teams at scale.
- Architect multi-agent systems with declarative workflow engines, agent identity management, inter-agent communication (Store-and-Forward messaging), and modular skill execution.
- Build and maintain integrations: MCP servers, webhook infrastructure (HMAC-signed), JWT-based auth, and connectors to enterprise tools (CRM, SEO, ERP, communication platforms).
- Ship production-grade code that scales from early adopters to thousands of enterprise tenants in a multi-tenant, security-first architecture.
- Collaborate directly with the founders on product direction, technical architecture, and go-to-market. Your code shapes the product, your ideas shape the company.
You'll Thrive Here If You...
- Have 5–6+ years of professional engineering experience across frontend and backend. You've shipped real products, not just prototypes.
- Think AI-first: You don't add AI to existing workflows. You design workflows around what AI agents can do. You use LLMs daily, you understand prompt engineering, and you've built agentic systems or are obsessed with doing so.
- Are fluent in TypeScript/Node.js and Python, with deep experience in React or Next.js on the frontend.
- Understand **distributed systems**: queues, event-driven architectures, async orchestration, and the operational challenges of running autonomous agents reliably.
- Have experience with **API design, webhook architectures, and authentication systems** (JWT, OAuth, HMAC).
- Care about developer experience and system design: clean APIs, composable architectures, and infrastructure that other engineers (and agents) love to work with.
- Thrive in an early-stage, high-ownership environment where you don't wait for specs. You define them.
Bonus Points
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), OpenAI function calling, or similar agent-tool interaction patterns.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS architecture and enterprise deployment patterns.
- Background in DevOps/infrastructure: containerization, CI/CD, observability.
- You've built or contributed to open-source AI tooling.

Why Arveum
- Defining moment: The AI agent market is exploding. We're not building another tool. We're building the category-defining workplace platform. You're not joining a trend. You're shaping the paradigm.
- Real product, real architecture: This isn't a slide deck. The platform is built: flow builder, deployment system, multi-agent orchestration. You'll build on a strong foundation, not from a blank canvas.
- Founder-level impact: We're a small, senior team. Your decisions directly shape the product, the architecture, and the company trajectory. No layers, no politics.
- Equity that matters: Competitive salary + meaningful early-stage equity (ESOP). You're not an employee. You're a builder with skin in the game.
- Munich quality of life: On-site in Munich, one of Europe's best cities for tech, culture, and quality of life.
