As a Senior Account Manager at Klook, you are the face of our brand to Tourism Boards and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs). This is a dual-impact role: you are a Strategic Hunter capable of identifying and closing multi-million dollar co-marketing deals, and a Master Orchestrator who ensures every campaign is executed with clinical precision.
You will bridge the gap between high-level destination strategy and the granular details of digital execution, ensuring Klook remains the most trusted partner in the global travel ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Consultative Media Sales & Digital Strategy
- Revenue Generation: Own the full sales cycle to secure co-marketing funding from DMOs (e.g., STB, HKTB, JNTO).
- Campaign Architecture: Act as a digital strategist to pitch high-performance media plans. You will translate Klook’s assets (SEM, Social, KOLs, and App real estate) into compelling narratives that meet a partner's KPI for visitor arrivals and spend.
- Execution Excellence & Account Servicing
- End-to-End Orchestration: Transition seamlessly from "selling" to "doing." You own the post-sale relationship, ensuring every campaign milestone is met on time and above expectations.
- Rigorous Project Management: Act as the central nervous system for partnership programs. You will coordinate with Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to ensure flawless delivery and high-quality creative output.
- Reporting & ROI: Produce sophisticated, data-driven post-campaign reports. You don't just send numbers; you tell a story of success that secures the next year’s budget.
- Stakeholder Diplomacy & Influence
- Trusted Advisor Status: Maintain deep, multi-level relationships within DMOs, from working-level coordinators to C-suite decision-makers.
- Internal Advocacy: Navigate Klook’s internal matrix to secure the resources and "buy-in" needed to make your partnerships successful.
- Strategic Value Creation (Beyond the Pitch)
- Pain-Point Discovery: Go beyond the RFP. Deeply understand the socio-economic and tourism challenges of each destination to identify "blue ocean" opportunities for Klook.
- Innovative Deal-Making: Design non-traditional partnerships (e.g., data-sharing, offline-to-online integrations, or exclusive product launches) that drive tangible business impact for Klook’s ecosystem.
- High-Stakes Negotiation: Navigate complex government procurement and private-sector negotiations to maximize Klook’s commercial interest while maintaining "Trusted Advisor" status.
- The Track Record: 6–10 years of experience in Media Sales, Ad Agency Account Management, or Business Development. A mix of sales and operational/servicing experience is ideal.
- Operational Mastery: You are obsessively organized. You have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects where "the devil is in the details."
- Business Acumen & Innovation: You can see the "Big Picture." You understand how to turn a partner’s problem into a profitable, innovative product or campaign for Klook.
- Digital Marketing Fluency: Strong knowledge of the digital funnel, performance marketing, and content strategy.
- Linguistic Versatility: Professional fluency in English and Mandarin
- The Startup Grit: High energy, proactive, and "hungry." You thrive in a fast-paced environment and aren't afraid to "roll up your sleeves" to get the job done.
