Indexed description
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment, automation, and reliability of a modern .NET and JavaScript-based application stack. You will be instrumental in managing CI/CD pipelines, optimizing deployment workflows, and support hybrid infrastructure with a transition focus from legacy Windows Server environments to scalable, cost-effective cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), aligning .NET 8 modernization efforts.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and administer Server infrastructure, including IIS, services, and automation via scripting
- Design, build, and optimize CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, with a focus on .NET and JavaScript projects
- Deploy and manage applications in Azure and AWS, including both traditional and containerized workloads
- Containerize applications using Docker and support their lifecycle in dev/test/prod environments
- Automate deployment of .NET 8 APIs across multi-server Windows environments
- Partner with cross-functional engineering squads to improve build orchestration, dependency management, and release pipelines in a monorepo environment, leveraging shared GitHub workflows.
- Improve observability and traceability across builds, environments, and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues during incidents or releases
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Enhance system observability using tools such as Application Insights, Azure Monitor, or ELK stack
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering roles
- Hands-on expertise in Server administration, and related tooling
- Solid understanding of GitHub Actions (authoring and optimizing workflows)
- Experience with Docker and containerization best practices
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS, particularly deploying apps and containers to cloud environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD principles, version control (Git), and infrastructure automation
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or other automation tools
- Experience deploying and maintaining .NET 6/8 sites and APIs
- Basic understanding of C# development to support build and integration processes
- Knowledge of NuGet, npm, and managing private/public package feeds
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, webpack bundling, and asset pipeline optimization
- Exposure to monorepo management and coordination across multiple development teams
- Experience with additional CI/CD tools (e.g., Octopus Deploy, Azure DevOps, Jenkins) is a plus
- Experience working in a platform team or contributing to internal tooling for DevOps enablement
- Familiarity with deployment rings, feature flag management, and progressive delivery techniques
- Exposure to a modern tech stack spanning .NET, JavaScript, Windows Server, cloud, and containers
- Join a team committed to modern DevOps practices, cloud-native design, and platform-as-a-service readiness — driving infrastructure as code, observability, and developer velocity across strategic product initiatives.
- Opportunities for growth in release engineering, observability, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD design
- Flexible work environment with remote-friendly policies
- We offer meaningful work and opportunities for career growth
