Account Manager, Landscape Maintenance

The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and experienced in managing landscape crews and commercial landscape accounts. Typical hours are Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM, though hours may vary depending on operational needs. Occasional Saturday work is required as well. This is a full-time, benefit eligible position with a company vehicle and bonus/commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts and property managers
- Maintain strong relationships and regularly communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns or service issues promptly
- Identify opportunities for enhancements and track proposals with clients
- Schedule daily crew activities using Aspire and manage route efficiency
- Visit job sites regularly to monitor quality and provide guidance to crews
- Assist foremen in managing job hours, labor efficiency, and overtime
- Coordinate services with internal departments including irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and arbor
- Assist with hiring, interviewing, onboarding and employee training and development
- Monitor timesheets, attendance, and scheduling
- Address safety concerns, incidents, or equipment issues promptly
- 2+ years of Account Manager or leadership experience in landscaping or related field is ideal
- 5+ years managing landscape maintenance employees or crews is required
- Strong client communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage schedules, crews, and multiple accounts
- Computer and technology proficiency required; Aspire experience a plus
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs when necessary
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
