Role: Scala Developer
Location: Germany - presence in Berlin is required a couple of times per month.
Signify are collaborating with a long-standing client of ours who are searching for experienced Scala Developers, with leadership experience to join their established Scala team.
About you:
- Experienced within Scala and Functional Programming.
- Worked with libraries such as Cats and Cats Effect (or ZIO or the Akka eco-system).
- Experience with Kubernetes and deploying on AWS is highly advantageous.
- Must be based in Germany and willing to commute to Berlin a couple of times per month.
What you'll do:
- Actively engage in core agile methodologies within your team to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with your team to create a unique app that offers a seamless and frictionless experience for users.
- Guarantee that the systems your team develops meet top-tier quality standards through code reviews, testing, and validation processes across teams.
- Own the end-to-end process of your work, from development to deployment and monitoring, ensuring a smooth operation.
