Your Main Tasks
- Own and grow a portfolio of automotive customers with clear accountability for revenue, profitability, and long-term business development
- Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to quotation, negotiation, and contract closure
- Manage and expand existing series business, including pricing, change management, and customer-specific commercial topics
- Drive new business development by identifying, evaluating, and converting growth opportunities, including expansion of the existing product portfolio & active involvement in customer-specific new product development
- Develop and execute account strategies that strengthen customer relationships, increase market penetration, and support delivery of sales and profitability targets
- Take active ownership of pricing and commercial conditions in the existing business, with a strong focus on margin improvement and financial value creation
- Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to manage contracts, claims, and customer-related business topics effectively
Your Profile: must-have
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in account management, sales, or business development within the automotive or industrial B2B environment
- Proven strength in contract negotiation, and the financial evaluation of products, projects, or business cases
- Strong commercial mindset combined with analytical capability, structured thinking, and a solution-oriented approach
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer relationships, communicate effectively across all management levels, and influence stakeholders to drive timely, effective solutions
- Experience working in an international environment with global customers and cross-functional internal teams
- Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written, at negotiation level (C1 Level)
- Willingness to travel regularly for business
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for customer results and commercial performance
- Confident negotiator with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and long-term customer relationships
- Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced and demanding business environment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across functions, cultures, and organizational levels
- Clear, credible communicator who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution discipline
- Experience in managing existing series production business in the automotive industry
- Familiarity with SAP and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel for commercial analysis and business case preparation
- Experience supporting customer-specific product development or introducing new products and solutions to customers
- Exposure to digital or AI-supported tools that improve efficiency, analysis, and commercial execution
