Senior Software Engineer - Backend (all genders)

Your Responsibilities

Work side-by-side with our CTO and our engineering team to develop systems that power our platform in hospitals and allow us to continuously ship great features.

• Lead backend work, helping us to scale reliably across cloud and hybrid deployments
• Take ownership of key components in our product roadmap and collaborate with our product and design functions to deliver features end-to-end
• Drive the design, enhancement, and optimization of our software architecture to ensure scalability, efficiency, and maintainability
• Champion thorough testing

Our Tech Stack: TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQL, Docker

Who We Are Looking For

• 5+ years experience building production TypeScript backend services with proven architecture skills
• Deep understanding of service-to-service communication patterns (with GraphQL)
• Experience working in B2B SaaS, ideally with data-heavy or API-first products
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior colleagues
• (Bonus) Familiarity with medical software or healthcare data standards (e.g. FHIR)

Already residing in Berlin (or within daily commuting distance) and authorised to work in Germany.
