Your ResponsibilitiesAs a working student, you’ll become a vital part of our team: contributing your ideas, building real-world software, shaping core features and learning hands-on. Whether you’re into creating a polished and pixel-perfect UI, orchestrating a well-structured and smoothly scaling backend or want to expand into data engineering - you’ll find space to grow here.
- Build & polish product features in our Vue3/TypeScript front-end and Node.js back-end.
- Build and maintain HL7 v2 and FHIR integrations with hospital systems to enable seamless clinical data exchange.
- Write and extend tests (unit, integration) to keep quality high and regulations happy.
- Improve developer experience by tightening build scripts, docs, and GitHub Actions workflows.
- Pair on code reviews & architecture sessions to learn best practices in distributed, compliant systems.
- Contribute to ongoing projects involving Natural Language Processing and Medical Data Science.
- Frontend: Vue3, TypeScript
- Backend: Node.js, GraphQL, FHIR
- DevOps/Infra: Docker Swarm, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, Grafana
- You’re enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s or Master’s program (e.g. Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or similar).
- Able to work 16–20 hours per week during the semester (more in breaks if you like).
- You've built something (a project, an internship, coursework) and can navigate an unfamiliar codebase without handholding
- You work independently, solve problems, and know when to ask for help
- (Bonus) Experience with TypeScript/Vue, GraphQL, DevOps
- (Bonus) Interest in healthcare tech / data modeling (FHIR)
