Scope:


The National Account Manager is responsible for increasing our contract base by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Duties may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential leads and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The National Account Manager may also recommend marketing strategies designed for a target market.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and establish contact with potential customers
  • Schedule and perform process demonstrations with potential customers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
  • Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
  • Ensure sales targets and plans directly tie to the company business plan
  • Generate and submit sales reports to management
  • Direct new business efforts that ensure that volume and gross profit growth targets are consistently obtained
  • Drive growth and performance with key accounts in an effort to maintain positive relationships
  • Manage strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Work with company leadership to identify and develop strategic alliances, channel partners and programs
  • Participate in market development, including participation in industry shows, supplier conferences, and other designated meetings
  • Perform weekly 1:1 meeting with key accounts and prospective accounts
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with senior leadership to discuss progress and to establish go-to-market plans or adjustments needed to strategic development


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of sales experience with senior level contacts
  • Familiarity with fuel and convenience is a must
  • Proficient with the usage of CRM systems
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • This is a remote position you must have the ability to travel 50%
