Description: We are seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to work within a squad of engineers to develop high-quality applications servicing the financial industry. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery and design of high value investment products that support our customers in providing excellent financial solutions.
The Expertise We're Looking For
· 6-9 years' experience in software quality engineering
· Experience creating test automation solutions in tools and frameworks such as Cucumber, Playwright, Cypress or Selenium
· Experience with continuous integration practices and automated deployment tools
· Proficient in Java or equivalent software languages
· Good level of SQL and database knowledge
· Experience with Agile methodologies
· Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
· Familiar with AWS or equivalent could-based services
The Purpose of Your Role
· As part of an agile scrum team, you will contribute to the QA automation strategy and implementation for our applications, to enable rapid delivery of key customer features
· Work collaboratively with engineering and business colleagues to help define acceptance criteria and derive release testing requirements
· Design, implement and execute functional and regression test cases/suites
· Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes
· Analyse and report test results, project tracking and product release readiness

· You can resolve issues proactively and/or identify approaches to solutions

· You can work independently with minimal oversight
