Role Summary:
We are seeking a mid-level Software Developer to join our Dublin-based team. You will contribute to the design, build, and evolution of business-critical applications, working with modern front-end frameworks (Angular preferred) and .NET Core, alongside non-relational data stores. The successful candidate will combine strong technical capability with clear communication, a collaborative mindset, and a high degree of ownership—delivering well-engineered outcomes to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve software solutions using Angular (or a similar front-end framework) and .NET Core.
- Design, implement, and optimize applications that interact with non-relational databases.
- Collaborate closely with other internal departments on new features and improvements to systems.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
- Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application performance.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Work autonomously to complete assigned tasks while remaining accountable for deadlines and deliverables.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and project updates to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Angular (preferred) or a similar front-end framework (e.g., React, Vue.js).
- Strong experience with .NET Core for back-end development.
- Familiarity with non-relational databases (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Couchbase, Cassandra).
- Solid understanding of software development principles, including design patterns and best practices.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated accountability and ownership of work, including the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
