Account Executive

Job Description: The Account Executive facilitates communication between the shipping customer and carrier. The role is responsible for acquiring new business and servicing current accounts. Organization, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills are key to success. This is a team-oriented role, and the applicant is expected to work well in a fast-paced group setting.

Compensation: Base salary plus uncapped Commission. Expected OTE range, $70k - $150k+

Daily Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a book of business
• Offer solutions to customers’ requests and complaints
• Handle large call volume – inbound and outbound
• Track and trace drivers in transit
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Provide customers with updates and exceptional customer service
• Coordinate shipments
• Assist team members with incoming calls and updates
• Quick response time to customer requests

Requirements:

• Business degree preferred
• Logistics background preferred
• Self-motivated and determined individual
• Ability to work in a team oriented environment
• Must have a strong work ethic
