Account Manager - icare

Join APM WorkCare and play a key role in growing our NSW icare CSP portfolio. Working closely with the NSW leadership team and reporting to the NSW Regional Manager, you’ll drive customer engagement, strengthen performance, and support the continued expansion of our NSW service footprint.

About the role

You’ll take ownership of a defined customer portfolio, developing and delivering account strategies that support referral growth, service excellence and strong customer relationships. This role sits alongside your core position and includes dedicated time allocation based on portfolio size.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and implement customer action plans to achieve growth and performance targets
• Deliver a minimum of 15% annual referral growth across allocated accounts
• Monitor account performance and ensure all customer activities and innovations support referral and engagement goals
• Oversee SLA implementation, including system updates, process alignment and team engagement
• Respond to customer issues and manage resolutions effectively
• Prepare and submit customer reporting (contracted and proactive)
• Contribute to tender writing and submissions
• Maintain 100% compliance with CRM, feedback and complaints processes
• Support continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in allied health, sales, communications or a related field
• Experience in account management or project management
• Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking and adaptability
• Proven ability to understand customer needs and deliver high‑quality service
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
• Ability to build strong relationships and deliver client‑focused solutions
