The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional and outcomes driven, experienced Account Manager or Executive Account Manager with construction insurance experience to join our Sydney team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an existing portfolio of construction, marine and other clients. The successful applicant will find themselves in an organisation and role that offers:
- The ability to influence outcomes that maximise the potential for long term relationships by providing professional advice and recommendations to clients
- Support to the management of the business unit with an emphasis on profitable growth
- A team orientation, working effectively with others to accomplish goals
- An open and transparent culture of compliance and risk accountability
There's real work to be done. You will:
- Effectively manage end to end client relationships including policy renewals and claims
- Provide high quality, accurate and thorough advice and solutions to clients
- Maintain a sound knowledge of the businesses and industries of your clients to ensure their needs are protected at all times
- Mentor and develop junior members of staff
About You
This is a fast paced, client facing role. With a comprehensive level of prior insurance broking experience, you’ll be looking for a unique opportunity to grow your career in our results focused environment. As an enthusiastic team player who understands the power of exceptional client service, you’ll offer:
- Experience with a diverse range of either Corporate or SME Commercial clientele in a client facing position
- A solid level of construction experience combined with the ability to take on other clients and product classes such as marine and/or financial lines
- An analytical mind and evidence of well-developed problem solving and interpretation abilities
- Superb client relationship management and a flair for business development
- Confident inter-personal and presentation skills and demonstrated negotiation abilities
- Tier 1 qualification and ideally have completed or be working towards your Diploma IB
