To help continue scaling our award-winning SaaS platform, we are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As both a leader and individual contributor, this person will have significant input on key product, architecture and recruiting decisions.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and monitor software across the entire tech stack
• Review code and promote software development best practices
• Build and maintain backend APIs, microservices and data pipelines
• Iterate and back test machine learning models
• Provide thoughtful input on key product, database and infrastructure decisions
• Collaborate across departments with fellow teammates in support, implementation, sales, etc.

• 5+ years of full-stack experience required
• Strong candidates should be comfortable with the following:

• Using AI tools as a core part of how you build. This is your default, not an experiment.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Working with large distributed systems and data pipelines
• Communicating honestly and transparently
• Working knowledge of or willingness to learn: Python, Django, Node.js, Vue.js, AWS [Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Lambda, SQS]
• Extra credit for experience working with:
• Telephony, voice and messaging APIs
• PyTorch and other machine learning frameworks
• Marketing technologies and related integrations
• HIPAA compliance
• Ability to travel to Raleigh, NC: We fly our engineers to our Raleigh headquarters for a full week for on-site collaboration once per quarter, fostering team cohesion, collaboration, and alignment with company goals.

Candidates who can work out of our downtown Raleigh office are preferred but we will also consider exceptional remote applications.
