Annual bonus: 5% target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to 200% (subject to personal and company performance)

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About The Role
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Personal Insurance team at BrokerLink!
As an Account Manager, Personal Insurance, you’ll support a group of Account Executives with all things related to Home & Auto personal insurance. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you’ll have opportunities to build strong relationships with our PI Account Executives and collaborate closely with your team members.

Your work schedule: 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm or 8:30am to 4:30pm
This on-site position is available in our Calgary, AB (1201 Glenmore Trail SW) office.
What You’ll Do Here
- Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice, helping customers understand insurance, discussing customer concerns
- Receive and process all incoming Personal insurance paperwork
- Assist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and updating customer file information
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificates
- Process endorsements, invoice, and follow up on payments
- Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with adjusters on claims status
- Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications
- A valid AIC General insurance license Level 1 is mandatory; Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be asset
- Solid knowledge of P&C Personal insurance is required
- Prior experience as an Account Manager, an asset
- Strong customer focus and administrative capability, with a detail-oriented mindset
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully, with excellent time management
- Proven analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently in a fast-pace environment
- Experience with Epic is a definite asset
