About The Role

As a Full‑Stack Software Engineer, you'll work directly with the founding team to build both consumer-facing and enterprise-grade software. You'll own major features, influence architecture decisions, and help scale a real‑time AI system used by thousands of candidates and employers.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments and wants to build impactful, production-ready AI products.

What You'll Work On

You'll contribute to both sides of the platform—candidate interview experiences and employer analytics tools.

Consumer-Facing Challenges

  • Reducing interviewer response latency to :200ms
  • Fine‑tuning AI models to reduce hallucinations and improve conversational accuracy
  • Enhancing real‑time video/voice interview experiences
  • Scaling architecture to support thousands of concurrent users

Enterprise Software Challenges

  • Integrating with ATS and internal hiring systems
  • Designing fast, intuitive visualizations of interview results
  • Expanding the platform into end‑to‑end hiring workflow coordination
  • Building and shipping new customer‑requested features

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain full‑stack applications (React + backend)
  • Develop scalable, high‑performance systems for real‑time AI interactions
  • Improve conversational AI accuracy and reduce latency
  • Integrate with customer systems and third‑party hiring platforms
  • Create fast, intuitive dashboards and data visualizations
  • Collaborate closely with founders and a small, talented engineering team
  • Launch features that directly impact thousands of job seekers and employers

What We're Looking For

  • Experience building full‑stack applications (React required)
  • Experience owning backend services (Node, Python, Go, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of system design and scalable architecture
  • Ability to work on‑site in San Francisco (or willingness to relocate)
  • Startup mindset: ownership, speed, curiosity, and bias toward action

Nice to Have

  • Experience with LLMs, conversational AI, or real‑time systems
  • Experience integrating with ATS or HR tech platforms
  • Prior work in high‑growth startup environments
