As a Commerce Operations Associate, you will be responsible for working in a collaborative team environment to support operational tasks on LATAM marketplaces such as Mercado Livre, Amazon, Magalu, Americanas. This includes executing standard, bulk listing uploads or maintenance, catalog audits, data entry, and complex troubleshooting.
What You'll Do Here
- Foundational understanding of some marketplaces processes, including Mercado Livre and Amazon (with a specific focus on the Brazil and Mexico markets), while continuing to expand their knowledge and sharing it with the team. This position is accountable for the timely and accurate delivery of tasks, and is expected to have high-level problem solving skills. Meetings with internal teams and clients are also part of the expectations for this role.
- Familiarity with creation and optimization of product listings, including copy, images, and other metadata, ensuring they are accurately uploaded and maintained both manually and via file-feeds, with the ability to execute troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including account management and analytics, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on brand partner strategies and objectives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes, adapting to the dynamic nature of the e-commerce environment and marketplace changes.
- Transform data into clear, actionable insights with a direct impact on clients’ results.
- Develop strategic recommendations to optimize operations (1P and 3P).
- Reports directly to the Manager, Commerce Operations.
- Fluency in Portuguese, Advanced Excel, and Intermediate English skills are required, along with outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent presentation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical skills capable of identifying and anticipating opportunities, increasing customer profitability.
- Provide assistance in process documentation and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven track-record of ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize appropriately.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, able to thrive in an autonomous work environment. Capable of dealing with ambiguity and able to use discretion and judgment to make decisions on critical business tasks based on available information.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and able to shine in a results-driven environment.
- Understanding of the critical growth factors that influence success on Marketplaces.
- Innovative problem-solver and self-starter who enjoys constantly learning to adapt to the ever-changing environment of Amazon and other Marketplaces.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in catalog automation tools like PIM and DAM (Salsify, Syndigo, Estorelabs, Content-Oh, Tenovos among others).
- Experience in Online Media and its main vehicles.
