Waves Audio is a world leader in professional audio processing, known for its industry-standard software & hardware that empower creators, musicians, producers, engineers, and audio professionals worldwide.

We are looking for a Marketing Automation Manager to join Waves’ Online Sales team and manage the day-to-day operation, improvement, and performance of Waves’ marketing automation activity. This role focuses on lifecycle journeys, customer segmentation, triggered campaigns, campaign operations, QA, testing, and optimization. You will work closely with Marketing, Web, BI, Creative, and Paid Media teams to turn business goals into scalable automation programs that improve customer experience, retention, repeat purchase, paid-media e iciency, and revenue.

This is a hands-on role for someone who can connect business strategy with execution: define the audience and journey logic, coordinate the required data, build and operate campaigns in the automation platform, validate campaigns before launch, and continuously improve results after launch.


Key Responsibilities

• Build, schedule, QA, launch, and optimize automated customer journeys, triggered campaigns, lifecycle programs, retention flows, promotional campaigns, and audience segments in Braze.

• Translate business and lifecycle goals into practical automation plans, including audience logic, entry and exit rules, suppression rules, timing, testing plans, and measurement requirements.

• Work with customer data, website events, product ownership data, subscription status, purchase behavior, behavioral events, and audience sync logic.

• Manage the marketing automation schedule, including journey launches, promotional sends, audience syncs, testing activity, QA timelines, and operational dependencies.

• Own campaign QA before launch, including links, UTMs, audience logic, personalization, suppression rules, rendering coordination, scheduling, and final launch readiness.

• Coordinate with email developers and creative teams on templates, assets, HTML requirements, and campaign build needs.

• Design and manage A/B tests and multivariate tests across messaging, timing, audience selection, o er logic, journey structure, creative, and CTAs. • Review campaign and journey performance, identify optimization opportunities, and translate results into clear business recommendations.

• Create recurring reports and post-launch summaries for key journeys, tests, and automation programs.

• Support the ongoing improvement of Waves’ lifecycle marketing, retention, segmentation, and customer communication strategy.


Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in marketing automation, CRM, lifecycle marketing, retention marketing, or marketing operations.

• Hands-on experience building, launching, and optimizing automated campaigns, triggered journeys, customer segments, and lifecycle programs.

• Experience working with a leading marketing automation platform such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar.

• Strong understanding of B2C e-commerce, customer journeys, conversion funnels, repeat purchase, retention, and reactivation.

• Experience working with audience logic, trigger-based marketing, suppression rules, customer attributes, and behavioral events.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to measure campaign performance and translate data into business recommendations.

• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, segmentation, personalization, and campaign optimization.

• Project management skills, including campaign calendars, dependencies, approvals, QA, and launch readiness.

• High attention to detail and proven ability to manage complex operational workflows.

• Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, data, web, creative, BI, and paid-media teams.

• Commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing automation activity to business outcomes.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple campaigns in parallel, and operate in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

• Strong professional written English.


Strong Advantage

• Experience with Google Analytics, web analytics, BI tools, or campaign reporting tools.

• Experience with paid-media audience syncs, customer lists, exclusion audiences, or integrations with Meta, Google, TikTok, or similar platforms.

• Experience with email deliverability, IP/domain warmup, consent management, unsubscribe logic, or suppression governance.

• Experience with web push, in-browser messaging, popups, notification centers, or web personalization.

• Basic understanding of HTML, email templates, tracking parameters, and campaign QA processes. • Familiarity with attribution, incrementality, uplift measurement, recommendation logic, or predictive audiences.

• Familiarity with professional audio, music production, recording, plugins or audio software.
