Chesamel has a large team of marketing experts delivering on client projects across the globe, ranging from fully integrated and embedded consultancy to ad-hoc on demand project delivery. You will be joining a collective focused on delivering excellent client servicing while leading business transformation for our clients.


The Role:


As the Senior Customer Advocacy Manager for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), you are the primary architect of Cloud’s "proof of impact" in one of our most critical global markets. You will bridge the gap between complex cloud technology and human-centric storytelling, acting as a strategic "matchmaker" who transforms successful partnerships into powerful narratives that resonate with C-suite executives and developers alike.


You aren't just managing general communications; you are the lead curator of a high-impact customer advocacy pipeline, mining the DACH landscape - from DAX 40 icons to the Mittelstand - to find the authentic voices that validate our leadership in AI and Data Sovereignty. By directing high-end multimedia content, managing executive speaker placements for events like Cloud Next, and partnering with account teams to navigate the reference lifecycle, you build the narrative that positions Cloud as the premier partner for digital transformation in the heart of Europe.


Key Core Responsibilities:


Your Role & Key Responsibilities


  • Reference Orchestration: Own the customer reference lifecycle across DACH, partnering with account teams to build a high-impact pipeline of brand advocates.
  • Strategic Narrative Architect: Consult with business leads to match DAX and Mittelstand success stories to key pillars like AI and Data Sovereignty.
  • Multimedia Storytelling: Lead the production of high-end customer content - including executive interviews, web features, and video - that showcases real-world ROI.
  • Advocacy-Led Visibility: Act as a strategic advisor to regional leadership, managing customer speaker placements, keynote content, and joint thought-leadership platforms.
  • Omnichannel Execution: Anchor Cloud’s presence at proprietary events (like Cloud Next) and third-party conferences by integrating customer stories across PR, social media, and live campaigns.
  • Stakeholder Integration: Collaborate across Sales, Legal, and Product teams to ensure all customer narratives are unified, compliant, and strategically aligned.
  • Reputation Stewardship: Manage regional media relations and issues management through the lens of customer success to protect and enhance Cloud’s brand.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing or communications, specifically within the enterprise software (SaaS/PaaS) or Cloud sector.
  • Fluency in German and English is mandatory; native-level writing skills in German are essential for this role.


Preferred/Desired Qualifications:


  • Deep Market Knowledge: A nuanced understanding of the DACH regulatory environment (e.g., GDPR, TCDP) and the specific digital transformation challenges of German-speaking industries.
  • Media Network: Established relationships with key tech and business journalists/influencers in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to use data and sentiment analysis to optimise campaign performance and prove ROI.
  • Agility: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where the "innovation cycle" moves at the speed of AI.
