Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

We would like to meet a Senior Java Fullstack Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model based in Porto (3x/week).

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in software development.
• Degree in computer science, a comparable qualification or several years of experience as a developer.
• Strong skills in Java, Spring, Angular, TypeScript and SQL, additional tools are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Docker, OpenShift, Jenkins and Git desirable.
• Experience with the development of RESTful web services and APIs
• Passion for clean code, pragmatic solutions and team collaboration.
• Experience in agile, high-performing development teams.
• Good knowledge of English (+ B2).

Responsibilities:

• Contribute across the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with software architects and business stakeholders to deliver high-value product.
• Drive quality, sustainability and continuous improvement within the team.
• Actively support the modernization of our technology stack and build new products from scratch.
• Design and build RESTful APIs and modular software architectures.
• Develop and maintain Java (Spring) backends and Angular frontends.
