Data Engineer / ETL Developer (French Speaker) – Porto or Lisbon

International consulting company specialized in enterprise environments and long-term projects across Europe, mainly within the banking sector.

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer / ETL Developer to join long-term projects within an international banking environment.

The role focuses on SQL development, ETL processes, database optimization and large-scale data integration projects.

This position requires a professionel level of French and good communication skills in an international environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance SQL scripts
• Develop, optimize and maintain ETL data flows
• Participate in database modeling and data architecture discussions
• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability
• Optimize SQL queries and data processing performance
• Work with large volumes of data in enterprise environments
• Collaborate with technical and business teams
• Participate in testing, deployment and maintenance phases

Technical Environment

• SQL / PL-SQL
• ETL tools and frameworks
• Oracle databases
• Data warehousing concepts
• Large-scale enterprise data environments

Profil Recherché

• Around 7 years of experience in SQL/Data Engineering environments
• Strong expertise in SQL development, query optimization and tuning
• Solid ETL experience
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases
• Experience working with large datasets
• Analytical mindset and autonomy
• Fluent French mandatory
• Good English level appreciated

Salary
