NOVAIS Foods is a family-owned company located in the Porto district in Portugal. Established in 2019, we specialize in producing, packaging, and distributing various food products. Our factory meets HACCP requirements, and we continually strive to enhance our production standards, quality, and food safety.

What You’ll Do

As our Technical Product Developer, you’ll be at the heart of product innovation — working closely with clients, leading lab trials, and ensuring successful project execution from brief to production. You will manage your own lab and be at the center of all the excitement!

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Coordinate with the project managers all the new launches and developments
• Developing and testing new food products in the lab and production lines.
• Translating client ideas into technically and commercially viable recipes.
• Monitoring timelines, specifications and costs across multiple projects.
• Communicating regularly with clients, providing updates and technical guidance.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in Food Science, Food Engineering, nutrition or similar.
• Hands-on experience in food product development or R&D.
• Strong project management skills and client-facing experience.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised.
• Fluent in English (mandatory) and Portuguese.
