Business Manager, Flegen (A Hegen Brand)

The Business Manager, Flegen is responsible for driving the strategic growth, commercial performance, and operational excellence of Flegen, Hegen’s dedicated mother and baby care service brand.

This role partners closely with Commercial, Marketing, in-house Lactation Consultants, and senior leadership to develop differentiated service offerings, expand business channels, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience aligned with Hegen’s brand purpose.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Business Development

• Develop and lead strategic plans to grow Flegen by collaborating closely with Commercial, Marketing, in-house Lactation Consultants, and executives to curate relevant and value-driven service offerings for Hegen clients and customers.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and initiatives to expand Flegen’s channels and drive broader adoption of Flegen services.
• Perform market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to inform competitive business strategies, programme offerings, and pricing models.
• Analyse industry trends in breastfeeding, lactation, and healthcare to introduce relevant, feasible, and innovative service concepts.

Commercial & Performance Management

• Drive Flegen’s commercial performance by ensuring business plans translate into measurable revenue growth, customer acquisition, and brand awareness.
• Track and analyse business performance against targets, providing insights and recommendations to optimise outcomes.
• Develop pricing strategies and programme structures aligned with market positioning and business objectives.

Operations & Service Excellence

• Manage the end-to-end operations of Flegen, ensuring delivery against planned objectives while maintaining operational efficiency and scalability.
• Ensure the continuous delivery of a best-in-class, seamless customer experience across all Flegen touchpoints.
• Establish and improve operational processes to support consistent service quality and customer satisfaction.

Marketing, Programmes & Outreach

• Create and oversee programmes and campaigns to educate and inform target audiences about Flegen services and benefits.
• Spearhead the planning and execution of outreach initiatives to build rapport, trust, and awareness among mothers and families.
• Partner with Marketing to align messaging, content, and campaigns with Hegen’s overall brand strategy.

People & Team Leadership

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Lactation Consultants and business operations staff to achieve commercial and service excellence.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and purpose-driven team culture aligned with Hegen’s values.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to ensure team effectiveness and growth.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in business management, service-based business operations, healthcare, wellness, or consumer services.
• Proven experience in strategy development, business operations, and commercial performance management.
• Strong understanding of customer experience, service delivery, and programme development.
• Experience working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, and operational teams.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent presentation skills and communication skills.
