Software Developer - C++ / Python Industrial Applications

As a Software Developer, you will design, implement, and maintain industrial software solutions, with a strong focus on high-performance C++ applications and modern software development practices.

Your role in our team

• Development of robust and scalable C++ applications for industrial machines and automation platforms
• Design and implementation of software components using modern programming principles, including Python where applicable
• Analysis of technical requirements and translation into efficient and maintainable software architectures
• Integration of software modules with machine control systems and hardware environments
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous optimization of existing software solutions
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as electrical engineering, mechanical design, and project management
• Support of commissioning activities both remotely and on-site where required
• Optional involvement in PLC programming (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) for automation systems

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong experience in C++ development and Python programming
• Experience in object-oriented design and software architecture
• Familiarity with industrial software or automation environments is a plus
• Knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens S7, TIA Portal) is an advantage
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. PROFINET, OPC UA) is beneficial
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
• Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
• Fluent English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally (~25%)
