Software Developer - C++ / Python Industrial Applications

Your role in our team
- Development of robust and scalable C++ applications for industrial machines and automation platforms
- Design and implementation of software components using modern programming principles, including Python where applicable
- Analysis of technical requirements and translation into efficient and maintainable software architectures
- Integration of software modules with machine control systems and hardware environments
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and continuous optimization of existing software solutions
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as electrical engineering, mechanical design, and project management
- Support of commissioning activities both remotely and on-site where required
- Optional involvement in PLC programming (Siemens S7 / TIA Portal) for automation systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong experience in C++ development and Python programming
- Experience in object-oriented design and software architecture
- Familiarity with industrial software or automation environments is a plus
- Knowledge of PLC programming (e.g. Siemens S7, TIA Portal) is an advantage
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols (e.g. PROFINET, OPC UA) is beneficial
- Experience with version control systems such as Git or SVN
- Analytical mindset with a structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach
- Fluent English skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally (~25%)
