Indexed description

Have you led teams responsible for delivering complex game releases across multiple platforms? Have you owned not just execution, but also the people, priorities, and decisions behind how releases happen? If so, we want you on our team.

At Paradox Interactive, we’re looking for a Manager of Product Launch to lead our release delivery function and the teams behind it. This is a people leadership role with direct reports, combining operational ownership with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and drive alignment across teams and partners.

Your Mission

You are responsible for the operational delivery of releases across the Paradox portfolio, leading the Product Launch team of strong Release Managers, Compliance Designer, and Age Ratings Specialist.

You ensure that Product Launch operates as a reliable and scalable function for Publishing — where teams are supported, decisions are made, and releases move forward with clarity, even when priorities compete and complexity is high.

In This Role, You Will

Lead and Develop Teams

Directly manage the Product Launch team. Provide coaching, feedback, and clear direction, and create an environment where the team takes ownership, performs consistently, and operates with a high degree of autonomy.

Oversee Release Delivery

Ensure all releases and major updates are delivered in a structured, compliant, and predictable way across PC and console platforms. Maintain visibility across the portfolio and ensure readiness standards are met.

Build Alignment Across Teams and Partners

Work across Studios, Publishing, Marketing, Sales, Legal, CTS, and external partners, including first-party platforms. Build strong relationships, collaborate effectively, and drive alignment while ensuring expectations are grounded in operational reality.

Drive Operational Excellence and Manage Risk

Establish and uphold frameworks, processes, and ways of working that improve how we release games, increasing predictability and reducing risk across the portfolio. Identify issues early and act as the primary escalation point for delivery-related challenges, stepping in to unblock teams and coordinate solutions when needed.

Enable Scalable Delivery

Ensure progress across releases by making informed decisions within your area of responsibility and helping teams navigate trade-offs and shifting priorities. Continuously improve how the function operates to support scalability, ensuring Product Launch can deliver reliably as the portfolio grows.

The Skills We Are Searching For

  • Proven experience managing and developing teams, with direct people leadership responsibility
  • Experience working in the games industry, with a solid understanding of release processes, platform requirements, certification, and publishing workflows
  • Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects across multiple teams and timelines, and experience using tools such as JIRA
  • Ability to build strong relationships, collaborate effectively across teams, and drive alignment with stakeholders, both internally and with external partners
  • Strong decision-making skills, with experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments and ensuring progress in the face of competing priorities
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

On a personal level

You are a confident and grounded leader who creates clarity in complex situations. You are comfortable making decisions, setting direction, and supporting your team through ambiguity.

You build strong relationships across teams and partners, and you work collaboratively to align people around shared goals. You are comfortable challenging ideas and assumptions when needed, and you do so in a constructive and solution-oriented way.
