Job Summary
The Inside Sales Account Manager position involves proactively engaging with customers to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on selecting the right roofing products. This position requires managing and growing relationships with existing customers and identifying and acquiring new business opportunities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee the day-to-day client relationships and facilitate new business development initiatives.
- Nurture existing accounts to foster lasting relationships and encourage repeat sales.
- Meeting and surpassing individual sales goals.
- Independent management of both customers and their accounts.
- Identify additional business prospects and lead efforts to secure deals within the designated customer account base.
- Process purchase orders and communicate order status updates to Outside Sales and customers.
- Establish individualized pricing for customers or orders based on the specific materials involved.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, promptly and professionally addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Conduct cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods to introduce our products/services to potential clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date on product features, benefits, and updates to communicate with clients and prospects effectively.
- Demonstrate years of experience in a client-focused and results-driven environment.
- Build rapport with clients quickly and effectively.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Manage time effectively, plan tasks, and organize workflow.
- Respond to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail.
- Follow directions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Handle incoming calls at the front desk.
- Demonstrated success in a client-focused and results-driven environment for several years.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience in sales preferred
