Job Description


Insight Global is seeking an Account Executive – Public Sector (SLED) for a growing data intelligence organization expanding its footprint across state, local, and education markets. This individual will own the full sales cycle, driving pipeline through high-volume outbound efforts while closing solution-based deals that address real operational challenges within government entities. The ideal candidate is a gritty, high-motor seller who thrives in outbound environments, is eager to learn public sector procurement, and wants to grow into a long-term SLED account owner rather than a transactional rep. This is an excellent opportunity for an SDR ready to step into a closing role or an early AE looking to sharpen outbound discipline and strategic selling skills.


Day-to-Day:

• Execute high-volume outbound activity to build pipeline

• Own the full sales cycle from cold outreach through close

• Sell data intelligence solutions into state, local, and education (SLED) accounts

• Run discovery calls and product demos with decision-makers and end users

• Support and respond to RFPs, bids, and procurement workflows

• Maintain accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting in Salesforce

• Partner with senior sellers on larger or more complex deals

• Build long-term relationships within public sector organizations
