Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support business analytics and reporting needs.
  • Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using GCP tools like Dataflow and BigQuery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all data engineering projects.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance data workflows for performance and reliability.
  • Document data processes and provide technical guidance to team members.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
  • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
  • Experience in designing and building data pipelines and workflows.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize data processes.
  • Preferred
  • Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Certifications related to GCP data engineering.
